3. No. You can only wear primary profession armor. Same goes for runes (you'll encounter these post-searing). 4. First time I got a char thru, I got pissed for dieing so fast (ele at lvl 4). So I remade and didn't leave til lvl 8. Average seems to be lvl 6 though, so 7 doesn't sound too bad. (My monk left at lvl 2 ) |

they go for that because theyre funny, not because theyre cool looking (though you can make it look like dual wielded daggers with them and a necro item)

Umm I got a spider from Baradin's Estate when I first started my Ranger, then decided I preferred the stalker. And to just correct something that was said earlier, the Animal Tamer is by Master Ranger Nente in Regent's Valley.

I charmed a wolf in presearing and kept it with my W/R and I got another one close to Yaks for my R/N.I don't mind pets but they can be a pain but it is nice to take them into the CA.

actually i'm rather confused - we were helping guildie to do missions with new char and i saw spider in the end of the wilds mission - its name was green, not red, it wasnt attacking and i was sure it's a bug. few days ago we were doing this mission for another guildie and i saw this spider with green name again. i've decided to test it took charm animal and tryed to charm it but it got killed too fast by minions... so now i'm not sure if it can be charmed or no.
it was a pretty big spider tho... 3 times bigger than uw spider i think. |

I've been pulling my hair out for days. I just went through the searing and swore I had seen my wolf afterwards...then I read this and remembered I had added a different Ranger skill in place of Charm Animal. He's back now! |

Major thread necro!
Btw does Brutal Mauling activate Paragon chants cause somone with a bear in Tombs claimmed it did and that was there reason for having it. I doubt it as BM is a monster skill. |

AFAIK BM is a monster skill and the bear no longer uses it once charmed.

BM does in fact activate Anthem of Envy, but all the other Anethms are party member, not ally.
Edit: Actually, the two EotN Anthems (Disruption and Weariness) state "ally" in the description as well, I'm not sure if they actually affect allies or if it really means party members. |
